Photo 1 – I stand for Zero Discrimination
I used to inject drugs and is living with HIV. I started HIV treatment in 2006. Treatment helps me stay healthy to do good things for my community together with the “White sand” self-help group. We have been helping many people who inject drugs in Ha Noi to learn about and develop skills in community-based drug dependence maintenance treatment; encourage them to take HIV test; refer those diagnosed with HIV to treatment and help them adhere to treatment. I just hope that every people living with HIV who inject drugs like me can overcome the weakness in oneself and the stigma and discrimination in society so as to live a positive life. We need sympathy and access to affordable treatment services that are friendly and sustainable. Let us all live positively to give and receive love!
